Please join us for our next parent information session on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00 pm, online only. The theme will be School Uniforms. There have been numerous 5th grade advocacy projects for consecutive years advocating for a review of our elementary uniform guidelines. The Parent Information Session will be an interactive discussion to explore their proposals, the current research and practices around the world regarding elementary school uniforms, and a way to start the conversation with our parent community.

  • Tuesday, April 14 @ 6:00 pm
  • Online only
  • Join Link:  https://zoom.us/j/94812014423

Pink Shirt Day Celebration

Each year our school joins other schools from 180 countries around the world to recognize Pink Shirt Day, a movement started in Canada to teach students the importance of kindness and to inspire everyone to stand up against bullying.

We had a terrific Pink Shirt Day celebration last Wednesday! Students participated in activities focused on kindness, diversity, and gratitude. We started our day getting into small groups with students from PreK - 5th grade completing activities together. Students made connections with others from different classes and grades while creating notes of gratitude, encouraging signs, and bracelets. Thank you for supporting our message of kindness and antu-bullying at home!

Swimming Event for 4th and 5th Grade (Thorpe and Mathias)

As the concluding celebration of our swimming unit in Physical Education, Lincoln holds an annual event similar to a swim meet for the 4th and 5th graders called Thorpe and Mathias.

  • Friday March 13th from 8:30 to 10:45 at the pool
  • 4th and 5th grade parents are encouraged to attend!
  • Mr. Nico is setting it up for parents to join the relays at the end if they want…if at least one parent jumps in to swim, Mr. Derek will too

As always, please contact Mr. Derek, Mr. Chris, or any of our elementary team if you have any questions or concerns!
