Dear High School Community, 

The campus is busy with many activities both in and out of the classroom, bringing excitement every week.

 

Congratulations to NHS and the Lincoln community on the success of the Terry Fox Run!

The National Honor Society collected over 1.2 million pesos that will be donated to the Terry Fox organization for cancer research! 

 

9th and 10th Grade Learning Expeditions - Donations needed!

The Grade Level Learning Expeditions are coming soon, with the trips planned for September 22-25 for grades 9-10 and September 21-25 for grade 11. All students staying at Lincoln will receive permission forms that need to be signed and returned to the school by Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

The fundraising committee for the 9th-grade trip needs your help gathering items to donate to a boarding school in Miramar serving low-income families. Please bring donations to the HS main office next week. Here are the needs:

• School Supplies (pencils - HB pencils or coloured), Erasers, Notebooks, Folders, Rulers, Scissors, Markers, Brushes, Crayons, etc.) for students in grades 2-6
• Board Games
• Clothing items (ideally for winter) for ages 6-12 (new or nearly new) or shoes (ideally closed-toe) sizes 25-40
• Sanitary items (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.)

 

Interim Grade Reports

Please also know that next week, families will be informed via email on September 16th if their students are currently performing at a level of 3 or lower in any of their classes. Families will receive an Interim Report email outlining the classes of concern. The goal of these reports is to increase communication and collaboration among families, teachers, and students to support academic performance. 

 

Teacher Appreciation Day

On behalf of the High School faculty, we thank all the parents who brought in such delicious treats this past Wednesday. What a beautiful tribute to the work and dedication of our Lincoln teachers.

Thank you for a wonderful start to the 2026-27 school year!
