HIGH SCHOOL

Principal’s message:

Dear High School Community,

It was great to see several of you online for the virtual  HS Coffee yesterday, where we shared the latest of Lincoln learning in the High School, both in and out of the classroom. Today we kick off the Easter break, with time for students to rejuvenate for the last quarter of the school year, and for our Seniors to focus on friends, family, and revision for their IB exams.

End of the 3rd Quarter and End of the Coursework for Seniors

The third quarter of the academic school year will close on April 10, 2026. The quarter grades for all year-long and semester classes are a progress report that represents each student’s summative grade at that time. The quarter grade also provides students and families with feedback on the learning progression in each class. The progress reports will be emailed to families on April 17th.

We encourage students to communicate with their teachers and to reach out if they have any questions or need support. Families, along with their high schooler,  will have the opportunity to sign up in PowerSchool to conference with the teachers beginning April 13, 2026, for virtual or in-person meetings in their classroom. The conference scheduler will close on April 20, 2026, at 4:00 pm, so please schedule before then.

The last day of classes for our Seniors is April 23, 2026. Our students finished their mock exams last week and are actively preparing for their IB exams, which will take place from April 28 - May 20, 2026. Best wishes to our Seniors as they come to these closing challenges of their high school studies.

Condors on Stage, in the Gym, and on the Field!

Congratulations to our SAAC Fine Arts students and Brazil Model United Nations (BRAMUN) delegates, and their advisors!  Our SAAC Fine Arts musicians, actors, directors, filmmakers, singers, and artists returned from Graded in Brazil, as did our Model United Nations delegates, who flew to Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, for the Brazil Model United Nations Conference (BRAMUN).  It was an incredibly rewarding experience, where our students collaborated with peers from around the region to create art and practice the art of negotiation and diplomacy.

Easter Break

On behalf of all teachers and staff of the high school, thank you for your ongoing support.  Wishing our students a wonderful Easter break, and for families celebrating, a wonderful holiday.

#AllTogether

Warm regards,

Dave Nelson, Ed.D.
High School Principal
