SUPERINTENDENTS' MESSAGE

Dear Lincoln Community,

It is our distinct pleasure to welcome our new and returning families to the 2022-2023 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you, as the new Superintendent. I have served as a senior leader in similar international schools in Burkina Faso, Egypt, Morocco, Brazil, and India over the past twenty years. I am joined by my husband, Michael Collins, who will teach in our high school Social Studies department, and our two children, Zachariah in grade 3 and Mia in grade 8. As I shared with the staff this week, it is an honor and humbling to serve and lead at Lincoln, a school that has an outstanding reputation in our international and local community. This is a school that empowers learners to make magic, and to make a difference.

Lincoln offers an outstanding commitment to academic excellence, along with robust opportunities beyond the classroom, with enriching learning experiences for students of all ages. In recent years, Lincoln has reflected upon and affirmed our mission statement, and established a clear and intentional strategic plan for growth. You can find this plan, along with other foundational documents, on our website. I am committed to building upon this structure to ensure that current and future students have opportunities to explore their interests and find their true passions.

In addition to the educational program, it was the level of community involvement that drew me to Lincoln. I witnessed this sense of pride as I underwent the interview process and have experienced it firsthand over the past few weeks, as each of the faculty members, staff, parents, and students I have met have been extremely warm and welcoming. Please know that it is my intent to make every effort to grow and nurture this culture to ensure the continued success of our students, school and community.

The faculty and staff are already back on campus and busy preparing for your arrival. Including those who have joined us mid-year, we have welcomed XX new faculty and staff to Lincoln this year- please meet our newest Condors here. Our elementary, middle, and high school have prepared messages for you that are linked below. Please read for more details.

While serving as your Superintendent, I plan to be accessible to all stakeholders and maintain open communication. Whether you are new to Lincoln or are a long-standing member of our school community, we welcome your feedback and input. If you see me, please say hello and introduce yourself!

Warm regards,

Dr.Nada Collins
