Dr. Nada Collins shares our upcoming events to celebrate our Lincoln community.

SUPERINTENDENTS' MESSAGE

Hello, Lincoln Community. What an amazing opportunity we've had over the past week to showcase and celebrate our time together and our spirit, our sense of Lincoln pride!

Hosting SAAC was a phenomenal event. 190 students from six different countries who joined us here in Argentina for our SAAC soccer tournament. Thank you to all the families who opened up their homes and hosted, and thank you to all the fans who came out and cheered. We had an amazing time with you.

Events like SAAC involve the entire Lincoln team. Please join me in thanking our maintenance team, our security team, our DOIT technology team. Most importantly, our athletics team and our communications team, that put together our amazing sticker albums and figuritas to bring our whole community together.

Today, we celebrated an annual tradition here at Lincoln called Speak. All of our students from grades four through 12 were invited to lead a workshop. And we had almost 100 students who signed up to talk about areas of passion and areas of expertise. They led workshops for fellow students, for faculty and for staff. They celebrated their knowledge, their agency and their voice and advocacy. It was an opportunity to bring our whole community together under the theme: “We are unique and united”. Congratulations to all of our organizers and to all of our student presenters.

Please check out all the details below for upcoming events for parents to come on campus and learn, celebrate and play with our students. We have the Middle School production of Hard Candy, the High School production of Gruesome Playground Injuries. We have the elementary school Sing Along and Musical Showcase, and we're open this weekend for our ES library and the makerspace play day. So please check out all the information down below. We look forward to seeing you on campus very soon.

For a number of years, Lincoln has been partnering with Barrio El Ceibo for Christmas for Everyone. We ask all members of our community to participate by bringing in food items. We put together boxes to make sure that over 200 families have a way to celebrate Christmas each year. Please join us on December 3rd for the Packing Party and check out the fliers below, so you know what items your child is responsible for bringing in.

Once a condor, always a condor! December 3rd is our Alumni Sports Day. All of our alumni will come out to connect, share memories, and just have fun playing together. The details are down below.
Thank you, Lincoln. Have a wonderful weekend.
