Parent Session: Belonging at Lincoln
  • Messages from the Superintendent

Dear Parents,

We hope your children were excited to come back to school today. We know we were excited to see them!

We invite you to our first face-to-face Parent Session of 2022. Join us as we explore the concept of “belonging” and what it means for every student at Lincoln to know that they belong to a school community where they can thrive and grow into their best selves. You will have a chance to meet with Jacinta Williams, the consultant with whom we are working to foster a stronger sense of belonging at our school. She will share with us a Belonging Framework as the foundation for our Justice, Equity, Diversity, and  Inclusion (JEDI) work. Jacinta will also lead us through an interactive session that provides us with a shared language and a shared outcome as we continue to grow in our journey of honoring diversity and inclusion, and developing our students to be culturally-competent global change agents who enhance their world. We hope there will be many opportunities to learn together and to raise any questions we may have about this important topic!

Please come to our Parent Session!
