Dear Lincoln Community,

In the last two weeks, there have been many more COVID cases at Lincoln. As of today, 19 students in the ES, 10 in the MS, 11 in the HS, and 11 staff were diagnosed with COVID. In addition, regular colds and flu viruses are prevalent.

Knowing this situation, we ask all members of our community to be diligent in maintaining good health and safety practices at home and in school, in order to ensure that our community avoids serious illness. We have been successful in the past by increasing our attention to proper precautions and it is necessary to do so again.

We ask you to help by taking the following measures:

  • Keep students at home when they are sick.
  • Encourage your students to wear masks.
  • Ensure your students wash their hands more frequently.
  • Maintain good ventilation indoors.

I have asked the same from all our faculty and staff and we all recognize that these actions are effective. With our collaborative efforts, we hope to avoid the spread of disease throughout our school.

Thank you for your cooperation towards a healthy Lincoln community.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,
Madeleine Maceda Heide
Superintendent
