SUPERINTENDENTS' MESSAGE

Hello, Lincoln.

Thank you so much to the parents, students, faculty, staff, administration and board members who gathered together with us in the auditorium last week to reflect and renew our commitment to our strategic plan.

We spent the afternoon together talking about innovations in the area of teaching and learning, professional development, institutional advancement and resources.

Our Board of Governors will evaluate the feedback shared by our community members and we'll be sharing out to all of you any revisions that we might make to our strategic plan.

We are very excited that we are able to work, moving forward and building the future of Lincoln together.

Lincoln is a proud member of AMISA, which stands for American International Schools in the Americas. It's a network of schools that are brought together for professional learning, for recruitment, and for conversations across our community and across our region with common interests and to help us grow professionally.

We are very excited this week that we were able to host Dr. Dereck Rhoads here on our campus for a visit, strengthening the bond that he's had with our community for many years and continuing to build that relationship.

Lincoln has hosted AMISA here on our campus for international conferences several times over the past few decades, and we look forward to continuing
to build that relationship and bringing that professional relationship and professional learning opportunities back to our community. We are proud of our connection and our relationship with Amisa and we look forward to continuing to lead amongst the community within the Amisa region.

This week has been a very exciting week for Lincoln. We celebrated spring day on Wednesday and Unity Day on Friday. Please ask your children how they enjoyed celebrating special events at Lincoln. And if you're on campus tomorrow, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday at the elementary school library, which is open.

You can come by, check out a book, play a game and visit Gracie who's celebrating her birthday this week. Our students are traveling again so we do have some upcoming trips in volleyball and swimming, that are coming up over the next few weeks.

Make sure to support your Condors whether from near or afar.

Thank you and have a great weekend.

Dr.Nada Collins
