Dr. Nada Collins shares our upcoming events to celebrate our Lincoln community.

SUPERINTENDENTS' MESSAGE

Lincoln friends and family. Welcome to the end of our first semester of the 22-23 school year. I hope that these past few months have been an opportunity for new friendships, for new learning, and for time for you to come together as part of our community, as we've healed together and as we've grown together coming out of our pandemic years. It's been a privilege and a joy to me to lead the Lincoln community this year.

I still tell people that I pinch myself when I wake up in the morning to imagine the dream of being a part of this community and being able to lead and work together with you, your families, our faculty, and with our staff has been real. The past few weeks have been filled with celebrations, opportunities to celebrate the end of the semester, showcases of learning, musical performances, class parties and other events.

For those of you who will be in Argentina in January, please do make sure to check out the link below. We have summer school opportunities for both play and academic learning experiences and socializing for students all the way up to grade eight. There's more information in the links.

This is a time of transition for the Lincoln community as it is for international schools all over the world. We are saying goodbye to 22 of our students at the end of this semester. We wish you the most luck and joy and a smooth transition as you move to your new home. And please know that you're always a Lincoln Condor.

We're also excited that when we return in February, we'll be welcoming many more families and students. We've already accepted over 50 students and 20 more that are in the process of application. Lincoln is growing and we are looking forward to continuing to welcome new students into our community.

Finally, I'd like to wish you a very nice holiday season. Whether you're here or traveling, I hope that you spend time with family and friends. I hope you eat delicious food, hope you swim lots, read, play, a little bit of work, and time to just be together. On behalf of the Lincoln faculty and staff, I wish you a very happy holiday season and a wonderful rest. Thank you.

Dr. Nada Collins
