Holiday Reading

School-wide summer bingo reading challenge! All ES MS and HS students and staff are invited to play reading bingo over the summer break. Starting December 3rd, use a bingo card to make your book choices, keep track of your reading by marking your card and turn in or submit the card to the library when we return to school in February. There will be prizes and celebrations!

Bingo cards to be shared through the library and here next week.

Reading Week

Also, coming up February 7-11, “Books Build Better Worlds”, a week-long celebration of books and reading throughout Lincoln. Stay tuned for details of  the many fun and exciting activities planned across divisions for the entire week.

Hour of Code in the ES Library December 6-12
The ES library will be open for coding every lunch recess next week. Can’t make it at lunch recess? A coding choice board will be shared in Seesaw and Google Classroom.

HS Yearbook Club

This week our high school yearbook club used the library to display past Lincoln yearbooks as a way to create community and develop ideas for this year’s book. Students loved seeing images from our school’s past!

Volunteering in the Library

Did you know that parents may volunteer in either library? Parents can create displays, shelve books, label items, organize spaces, prepare teaching materials and more. Volunteers bring a fresh eye and amazing skills to our school. If you are interested, please contact the librarians.

All parents are encouraged to use our library. Please contact one of the librarians to learn more about setting up your own account.
