From the Middle School acting Principal
Wishing all of our MS Families a very restful break! For those of you who are leaving Lincoln, we wish you safe travels and much happiness in your next adventure. And for those of you who are returning to Lincoln, we look forward to seeing you on August 2nd! Stay safe and be well.
In order to promote life-long reading and a passion for books, we would like to encourage the incoming sixth grade students to read during the holidays. Our MS librarian, Martha Langille, is inviting all middle schoolers to participate in a "50,000 minutes of reading" initiative. Incoming sixth graders are also expected to read at least one novel of their choice that they will be working on during the first weeks of school. They are encouraged to take notes using any format they have used in fifth grade and which they find useful. The Language Arts 6 teachers will conduct a variety of activities based on their reading at the beginning of the 2021/2022 school year.
In case you missed it last week, our awesome Student Council, led by Ms. Stacy Hassler had the opportunity to meet Dr. Arnold. Check it out!

From the Middle School counselor
This has been a year full of change. We have all quickly adapted to evolving circumstances and uncertainty, while trying to find some routine, positivity and joy. Thank you for all the extra support you gave to your children and also to the whole Lincoln community this year.
During break. I will be checking emails periodically.
If you are in the need of transcripts or report cards during the break, please email email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
Please check emails the last week of July for the first week of school August 2-6 schedule. Students will not received their personal schedule until that first week of school.
