Dear MS Parents, Students and Staff,
Spring has arrived!
This means that our mornings may be chilly, but things are warming up with the afternoon sun. Please remember to send your child with a refillable water bottle with their name written on the bottle. It also means that the sweatshirt or jacket that your child wears in the morning is likely to come off as the day warms up. Please help us keep our lost and found items to a minimum by writing your child’s name clearly on an inside tag so we can return it to them if lost.
MS Parent Coffees:

Save the date! Terry Fox Run:
Saturday, September 28th - come out in the morning from 10:00-11:30 to participate in a community fundraiser event where we will be raising money for cancer research. Participants can run, walk or support with their positive vibes! The funds collected will go to a local entity that supports cancer research. To learn more about Terry Fox, who this event is named after, you can watch this video on YouTube or visit the foundation website.
Highlight on Learning
G8 Art - Photomontage: A photomontage is a collage constructed from photographs. In this unit students will learn about the artist Hanna Hoch and dadaism. Students are working to create a collage using images from magazines and newspapers and they will give these images a new context and meaning so they can create a message.
