middle school

message from the ms principal

Dear MS Parents, Students and Staff,

What a busy week!  I hope everyone in our parent community had the opportunity to participate in the town hall events with our head of school candidates.  I am very proud of our MS students who also participated in this process and thoughtfully listened to the candidates and shared their questions and feedback.

I would also like to mention Mr. O’Hearn and Mr. Prevatte’s advisory groups that led our MS assembly this week.  They shared their learning related to global warming and encouraged the audience participants to be Agents of Change by practicing the 3Rs, reduce, reuse and recycle.

From our MS Counselor:  Careers Day!

We are  looking for about 10 parent volunteers to come ON campus to talk to our middle school students about their career and educational experiences! Hearing about the career pathways of family and friends is a great way for students in middle school to learn about different options for themselves. Parent volunteers will speak to 3 small groups of students during our community time from 9:05-10:05 on Wednesday, December 1. Please check your calendar and if you are available and willing to volunteer to be a speaker, complete this form to sign up. If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Ms. Stacy Hassler, our middle school counselor for more information.

For those leaving us

As we approach the end of the semester, we know at an international school that there will be people leaving our school to go off to other adventures. This time of year can be overwhelming for the families who are leaving, we want to try and provide support and ideas to help ease the transition. On November 23rd from 9-9:45 am Lincoln counselors are holding a session for all parents that are leaving Lincoln this school year. Please look out for the Zoom link to be sent via email. We hope if you are leaving you can join us not only to hear the counselors suggestions, but also to have space and time for you parents to share tips with each other.

Have a restful weekend!
