Welcome to the
Middle School Library!
All community members are invited to use the library. We offer a great selection of print and digital materials in English and Spanish that are updated regularly. All resources can be accessed through our online catalog Destiny Discover:
Middle School students can use the library in their free time between classes, during lunch time and after school. Here they can do research, homework, read for pleasure, play games or simply have some quiet time.
The Library also sponsors a number of special events during the school year including author visits, holiday reading programs, reading weeks, poetry month, and book clubs.
Through our library resources and program we support the Attributes of Lincoln Learners. Specific goals include fostering a love of reading and developing exceptional information literacy/research skills.
poetry month
April is Poetry Month at Lincoln! If you visit at this time, you will see and hear poetry shared throughout the school! Everyone (ES-MS-HS) participates in Poem in a Pocket Day, our culminating event and an opportunity for everyone to share a poem with others.
READING FUN!
The MS HS Library, together with the ES Library, sponsors events and programs to support reading appreciation throughout the school. Events include Reading Week and author visits.
Each December/January students can take part in Reading Bingo and during July track their reading with our Minute Reading Madness!
MS BOOK CLUB
All MS students are invited to join our dynamic book club! The group meets each week during lunch to share and discuss books, help in the library and sponsor reading activities.
