HS Posts

Dear High School parents,

Thank you for your continued support as we ensure that the learning continues at Lincoln!

Here is some important information as we move forward:

Classes continue tomorrow as planned; this includes all and any assessments as determined by our teachers. We will resume our online learning plan following the SAME SCHEDULE (Two week schedule: G9 & G10, G11 & G12) beginning on Monday, April 19 until Friday, April 30. As you know, during this time, students may not come to campus, and all After School Activities will take place online, where possible.

Student classes take place from 12:15 pm to 3:45 pm daily, with morning online Office Hours continuing from 9:00 am to 10:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Advisory continues on Monday mornings at 8:30 am, and Assembly takes place on Thursday mornings at 8:30. Students are encouraged to check in with their teachers frequently and to make effective use of Office Hours as we enter the online learning plan.

Previously scheduled parent and student meetings will continue as planned and we will continue to continue to use google classroom as our online learning platform. All students have access to our grade-level assessment calendars so they can always be aware of due dates and assignments. Every week, we send  announcements to students about upcoming events and important dates. We are also in constant contact with them through email. Teachers will be working online; please contact us with any questions or concerns and we will respond as soon as possible.

We will continue to support all of our students -- academically, emotionally, socially -- as we navigate these perilous waters together. These are very difficult times for all members of our community. Nonetheless we are confident that our students will make a successful transition to online learning during this two-week period. Through the course of the pandemic, they have demonstrated a remarkable resilience and  an ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances. I know that they will succeed in facing this latest challenge.

Thank you for partnering with us as we ensure that all students continue to work at high levels at Lincoln!
