SPRING DAY: CELEBRATING ON SEPTEMBER 22
On Wednesday, September 22nd we will celebrate, as is tradition in Argentina and at Lincoln, the beginning of Spring. We will enjoy an outdoor lunch on the school fields, followed by games and activities. To make sure we create a safe environment, we will do this in turnsand groups so as to reduce the amount of people on the fields.
To those of you who usually send lunch, we ask that it be something they can eat with their hands, without needing cutlery.
PARENT COFFEE: MATH IN THE ELEMENTARY
Please join us on Friday, September 24 at 9AM for a parent coffee about math in the elementary school. We will be hearing from Dr. Hilary Kreisberg, a math educator, author, and professor at Lesley University in the United States. You can expect to learn more about our new Kindergarten-Grade 8 math program, Illustrative Mathematics, and see a little more of the math your children are learning this year.
LOST and FOUND
Students are leaving jackets, sweaters, water bottles, and tupperware throughout the school. Please take a moment to inventory what your child may have at school and send him or her to the office to go through our Lost and Found. Please make sure you mark all items with your child’s names so the children can find them.
School photos (individual ones only for the time being) will be taken on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th of this month. Please make sure your children are in full school uniform on these dates.
