SPRING DAY: CELEBRATING ON SEPTEMBER 22
On Wednesday September 22 we will be celebrating, as is tradition in Argentina and Lincoln, Spring Day. This time we will enjoy a lunch outdoors on the school field and then games and activities. To create a safer environment, we will do it staggered and in groups with the aim of not having many people on the fields at the same time. For families who regularly send lunch to their children, please send something that can be easily eaten with the hands, without the need for cutlery. It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Student's Day and Spring, an Argentine tradition that the Lincoln community has been sharing with its new international members for many years.
PARENT COFFEE: MATH IN THE ELEMENTARY
Please join us on Friday, September 24 at 9AM for a parent coffee about math in the elementary school. We will be hearing from Dr. Hilary Kreisberg, a math educator, author, and professor at Lesley University in the United States. You can expect to learn more about our new Kindergarten-Grade 8 math program, Illustrative Mathematics, and see a little more of the math your children are learning this year.
