EQUIVALENCIES
STUDENTS IN GRADES 8-12
Students transferring to Lincoln in grades 8-12 from countries without educational agreements with Argentina, will be given “equivalency” studies in Spanish language. The equivalency studies, in conjunction with the required coursework in the Lincoln curriculum, are designed to enable even beginning Spanish students to reach the minimum level of Spanish language proficiency necessary for the Argentine diploma (Bachillerato). The equivalency studies will be administered through the Spanish Department. Award of the Bachillerato is contingent on successful completion of the equivalency studies.
Every student attending any Argentine secondary school (7th to 12th grades) must be on track to graduate and receive an Argentine Diploma. This Diploma is valid and also required by many countries where our students will continue their studies once they leave Argentina, or if they go to another local school/ college; Asociación Escuelas Lincoln as a private school must follow the Federal Law of Education of the Province of Buenos Aires.
Whether your child has transferred to Lincoln from a country which has educational agreement with Argentina, or transferred from countries which don't have an educational agreement with Argentina,we need to validate your student's subject Equivalencies through this official document (translated version with instructions ) .
Students transferring from a school in a country with no educational agreement with Argentina must complete our Equivalency program as a mandatory requirement, this program is being done independently with the support of the Spanish teachers .
Please print the Spanish version of the form, complete it, sign it, and bring back the hard copy (one per student) to the High School office or National Program office on the Orientation day (July 31st) in order for us to present this form to our Ministry of Education Inspector and have the equivalencias program completed for your student.

MS/HS PLACEMENT TESTS
Please note that some new students in Middle School or High School may be required to take placement tests (English/Spanish or Math). The divisional secretaries, Yolanda Vitsentzos (High School) or Carolina Nicolini (Middle School) will be in touch to schedule them if necessary.

All students must submit this form every school year.
All forms can be found in Spanish & English.
Also, please make sure you complete the Lincoln Health Information form in PowerSchool, and submit there a copy of your child's vaccination record.
