MEET PAL: THE AMAZING COMMUNITY OF INTERNATIONAL FAMILIES!

A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT OF PAL

My name is Melanie Aranguren and it’s an honor to serve as this year’s  PAL President. My main goal is to grow our community stronger together.  After relocating  12 times with my family  we have learn that an international school is not just a school for the kids is a community for the whole family. A place where you can find friends and the support you need to make it when you are far from home. We are proud to be working with an outstanding group of parents who will serve as room parents and also the Board of Directors. A big thank you to all of the past volunteers for your time and energy.
 
For PAL to be effective and truly representative of the school, everyone’s participation is essential. Many parents feel that they cannot participate in PAL because they are not able to come to meetings or be at the school during the day. We want everyone to feel that they are a part of this great Lincoln community . Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time, your talents and simply your voice is truly needed. We can match your time constraints and interests to needed tasks. There are endless possibilities in ways you can help!

All the Lincoln community is invited to participate in PAL events.  We organize many events during the year that support our students, parents, faculty and many charities. Keep in mind that by participating and  volunteering in PAL at our school, you will get to enjoy interacting with the children, becoming friends with other parents and accomplish things that truly make a difference!  This year parents at Lincoln  will be organizing  old favorites activities  as well as new additions so keep an eye out for new opportunities to get involved.
