Principal's Letter

Welcome to our High School. The High School Program at Lincoln features a vigorous and engaging curriculum for adolescents in Grades 9 through 12. Our approach may be characterized as one of “High Challenge – High Support”; we offer academic and social counseling, learning support, enrichment opportunities and advanced courses, as well as a range of extracurricular activities to enliven the day-to-day experiences of the youths in our community. Our goal is to ensure that all students learn at high levels and that every Lincoln student finds a pathway to confidence and success.

Our Academic Program culminates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) in Grades 11 and 12. Prior to this, in Grades 9 and 10, students follow a program of courses comprising core subjects in: English, Spanish, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Arts, Health and Physical Education.

Throughout the four years of high school, students meet regularly within grade-level Advisory groups to build trusting relationships,  pursue academic counseling, find support in social-emotional learning and self-management, goal-setting and communication skills. In Grades 11 and 12, all students develop a portfolio of Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) projects in partial fulfillment of the AEL graduation and IB Diploma requirements.
