WHEN TO SEND STUDENTS TO THE NURSE'S OFFICE

Visits to the nurse

Due to infection control and illness management guidelines, foot traffic in the Nurse’s Office needs to be kept at a minimum.

Teachers should evaluate the need/urgency of the student´s issue
Ask the nurses prior to sending a kid by phone/ hangouts/ email to avoid that students gather inside the nurse’s office.
Symptoms to send a kid to the nurse:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Pink eye
- Skin rash
- Serious bumps/cuts/injuries
- Severe allergy reactions
- Cough
- Special cases: Any student who needs to take prescribed medication
Not more than 3 students will be allowed inside the center and always keeping the 2 mts distance between.
Each classroom will have a Basic first aid kit
