Visits to the nurse

Due to infection control and illness management guidelines, foot traffic in the Nurse’s Office needs to be kept at a minimum.

• Teachers should evaluate the need/urgency of the student´s issue
• Ask the nurses prior to sending a kid by phone/ hangouts/ email to avoid that students gather inside the nurse’s office.
• Symptoms to send a kid to the nurse:
  • Fever or chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Pink eye
  • Skin rash
  • Serious bumps/cuts/injuries
  • Severe allergy reactions
  • Cough
  • Special cases: Any student who needs to take prescribed medication
• Not more than 3 students will be allowed inside the center and always keeping the 2 mts distance between.
• Each classroom will have a Basic first aid kit
