Learn all the progress made in the construction of the new elementary school building.

The excavation phase is nearly complete! Since June, the construction of the new elementary school building has successfully moved forward. Now it has reached a crucial point: removing the final few meters of soil. Up to now, more than 7,400 cubic meters of soil have been removed from the site. The excavation has an average depth of 5 meters!

The construction team has successfully completed the shoring walls. Now, they have already started building the foundation bases. So far, only 12 tonnes of steel of 34 delivered to the site has been used for the foundational work. These structures will support the future columns, beams, and slabs of the building. To support this, approximately 240 cubic meters of concrete have already been placed. As it shows, we are currently at a truly essential stage of development.

What happens next?

The next few months are promising, as the progress will be even more visible. During December, the focus will be on assembling the steel reinforcement for the first columns.

In January and February, the structure will begin to grow in height. This means the building will start its vertical elevation. All of this consolidates the initial stage of the project. The construction team is preparing the site for the rise of the new structure.
