Lincoln Learner Triumphs at International Padel Tournament

Middle school student Oliver won his first-ever international padel tournament in Chile. Learn more about his achievement!

Lincoln Learner Triumphs at International Padel Tournament

Oliver, one of our middle school learners, recently won the FIP Promises Puerto Varas Sub 14. Organized by the International Padel Federation, this prestigious circuit is designed to prepare top youth talent worldwide for future professional careers. This victory marks a major leap forward for him. "I am now part of an international window, with the opportunity to travel the world and play with kids from all over in different tournaments," Oliver shared.

The international stage also brings the exciting dynamic of cross-border partnerships. After winning in Chile alongside an Argentine teammate, Oliver is already looking ahead. "This year, I will be playing with a Mexican partner for the upcoming US tournaments," he anticipated.

Oliver's success is the result of true resilience. Balancing schoolwork, daily training, and a heavy travel schedule requires a lot of discipline. "I am also learning to take better care of my body," he noted. "Recovery is now a big part of my day-to-day life as well."

So, what's Next for Our Self-Navigator? For the rest of the year, Oliver will compete in Ecuador, San Francisco, Miami, and, once again, Chile. But his biggest goal still lies ahead. Next year, when he turns 14, he hopes to qualify for the World Padel Championship for Minors, this time representing Argentina. To fuel his journey across Argentina and the Americas on the FIP Promises tour, he is looking to team up with kindred brands to accompany him on this endeavor, “so I'm very excited about that," he concluded.
