By moving the pool to the lower fields, the school has the opportunity to construct an indoor facility, with changing rooms to support both the pool and the fields. The new construction could occur on the tennis courts, with new courts on the roof. An elevator at the bridge could be considered for accessibility from campus to the lower field. The new aquatic center would not add to the building area limitation on the main campus site. The former pool site could be landscaped to provide outdoor seating areas geared toward the high school students.

A new structure built on the current elementary play area allows school to continue while con - stuction goes on. Once the new facility is com - plete, the existing structure can be removed and new playgrounds installed. A covered walkway should be incorporated from entry points. The Health suite could be relocated to available space at the Middle School level.

Similarly, although the administration will be temporarily relocated, the remainder of the middle school can continue to use its current classrooms while the new Middle school is con - structed. Once the new building is complete, the former classrooms can be removed to be - come an open outdoor covered play and dining area.

This phase involves transforming the Auditori - um building into a fixed-seating theatre with a renovation to the D-block floor to become new music, chorus, and drama rooms. The accessibil - ity from the entrance to campus to the lobby of the new theatre would also be addressed. The placement of a serious arts venue at the center of campus will make a meaningful statement about the value of performing arts to the com - munity. Visual arts display could also be incorpo - rated into the renovation.

The mansion is a historic building that is an im - portant iconic symbol as the front door of Lin - coln. In order to make it a more inclusive and welcoming part of the campus academic com - munity, this renovation would move the cen - tral administration offices to the top floor and reorganize the offices on the lowest level. The ground floor and middle floor would become a media and information center, including an up - per school library, a cafe, admissions and head of school offices, and digital and maker spaces. This renovation would be substantial in order to up - date the accessibility with a new elevator, open up spaces on the ground and middle floors, and add more glass to both interior and exterior walls. The outdoor terraces would be incorpo - rated into the experience of the building.

Despite its relatively young age, the high school has several key flaws that could be addressed through a straightforward renovation. These include:

• a larger and modern elevator
• a reconfiguration of toilet rooms to make them more accessible and inclusive
• the addition of more glass between class - rooms and corridors
• the removal of some walls to create open seating areas for students outside the classroom.
