An up-to-date Student Information System and Learning Management System is in place to manage Teaching and Learning effectively
 


2020-2021

  • Purchase of a new SIS (PowerSchool) and initial steps to implement K4-12.
  • Purchase of a new LMS (Schoology) and initial steps to implement in MS/HS. 
  • ES continues to use Seesaw in K4-2 and Google Classroom in grade 3-5.
     

2021-2022

  • Clarification of job roles and responsibilities in DoIT team to consider support for school-wide systems.
  • Implementation of Schoology and PowerSchool, with professional development support provided by internal and external sources. 

2022-2023

  • 1 year assignment of outside support to continue implementation, support and configuration of reports.
  • Sent member of DoIT team for training with PS university.
  • PowerSchool custom reporting system created to allow ES teachers to enter standard based grades and comments via Google Sheets. 
  • PowerSchool API and custom scripts developed for HS student tracking and assignment completion.

2023-2024

  • DoIT, Admissions, and school offices continually review and revise reports and streamline processes for enrolling new students and updating demographic family data.
  • HS moved to course requests and scheduling using PowerScheduler.
  • Admissions started an audit with Global School Operations to review the application, application review, and onboarding process.
  • Schoology course cross-listing enabled to merge same period classes such as IB SL and HL courses.

2024-2025

  • Admission will make decisions based on audit to improve the family onboarding process and account creation in PowerSchool.
