What does Wellness means for our school? Wellness as the World Health Organization (WHO) well describes, it is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life since we are young. “…a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Because we are convinced that the search for this balance is crucial for each one of us and our children, our school counts with a Wellness Center.
Our Wellness Center, located in the ES building in front of the Mansion, it’s open from Monday – Friday during school hours, from 7:30 am to 18:30 pm and on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 18:30 pm. It’s staffed by four Registered Nurses (RN), three of them with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing (BSN), who work together with teachers, parents and Lincoln staff to promote wellness in our students and in our whole community.
