Sonia Ruseler – President
Sonia has served on the Lincoln Board since 2013. Sonia represents Casa Altamira, a winery. An Argentine national, she has a background in international journalism, having reported and anchored for BBC, ITN and CNN in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States; crisis management and lobbying, based in Washington DC; and corporate communications in US and Latin America. Her two children have attended Lincoln since 2011, spanning Elementary, Middle and High School. Alegría graduated High School in 2016, and Nelson is in Grade 12. She is currently Executive Director of an educational non-profit, AACI, Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa.
Christoff Poppe – Vice-President
Christoff is a Lincoln Alumn from class of 88. He is currently the Country Manager for United Airlines and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His two daughters are at Lincoln: Veronica in 11th Grade and Isabella in 6th Grade.
Natale Rigano – Secretary
Natale Antonio Rigano is the CEO of Pirelli. He also serves as Board Member at the Italian Hospital in Argentina since 2008. His daughter Lucrezia graduated from Lincoln in 2012, while his son Massimiliano is in Grade 11.
Juan Manuel Mora y Araujo – Under-Secretary
Juan, who is a Lincoln alumn, is the Director Nacional de Formación at the national Ministry of Social Development. Previously, he was Director of Environmental Education at the national Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development. Juan has a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard University. His family is unique to Lincoln, with three generations attending the school, starting with his mother, himself, and now Oliverio, in grade 5, and Justina, in grade 3.
Pedro Arnt – Treasurer
Pedro Arnt is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of MercadoLibre. He holds a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Haverford College and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford. His sons are at Lincoln: Teo in Grade 3 and Milo, in Kindergarten.
Carolina Estrada – Under-Treasurer
Carolina Estrada graduated from Lincoln in 2001. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in Virginia and a Masters in Business Administration from the IAE Business School in Argentina. She is currently director of JEMPSA and President of Inversiones J.R. She was elected to the Board in 2014. Her family has a long tradition at Lincoln, and she is the mother of future Condors.
Walter de Actis – Board Director
Walter is Schlumberger’s General Manager for Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. Walter is a graduate of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. His son Santino is in Grade 1 and his daughter Brunella in Kindergarten.
Christopher Jones – Board Director
Chris represents JP Morgan. His three sons are at Lincoln: George in Grade 10, Edward in Grade 8 and Arthur in Kindergarten.
Kevin Maneffa – Board Director
Kevin represents Chevron on the Board. His current position is General Manager YPF New Ventures at Chevron. His previous posts for Chevron have been in Australia, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Venezuela. Kevin has served on the Board since December 2014 and has two daughters in school – Elena in Grade 12 and Ashley in Grade 10.

Jennifer represents the Canadian Embassy. She is a lawyer practicing international trade law for the Government of Canada. She has three children attending Lincoln: Emilie -Grade 9, Nicholas – Grade 6, and William -Grade 3.
Douglas Lee Albrecht – Board Alternate
Joaquín Lo Cane – Board Alternate
Joaquín represents YPF. A graduate of ITBA, the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, he currently heads Drilling & WorkOver at YPF, after a career for Total oil in Paris, Brunei, the Netherlands and Angola. His sons Franco and Dante are in Grades 9 and 2, while his daughter Valentina is in Grade 7.

Deborah Yu Cooney – Board Alternate
Deborah is a higher education specialist, advising students on university and career pathways in the United States, UK, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Canada. She holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; a college counseling certification from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA); and a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Louisiana State University (LSU). She currently works for an international school outside of Argentina as a university and careers advisor, and is a volunteer EducationUSA in Buenos Aires, an international student advising network within the U.S. State Department. Married to Tom Cooney, Charge d’ Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, they have three children at Asociación Escuelas Lincoln – Brennan Grade 10, Alanna Grade 7 and Rylan Grade 2.
