Lincoln International is part of a community which is engaged in our decision-making process. As a non-denominational institution, we are governed by the Asociación Escuelas Lincoln, a non-profit corporation in which American and multi-national companies and entities participate.

Elected annually by the membership of the Asociación Escuelas Lincoln, the Board of Governors represents institutions that contributed to the formation of the school and others who have joined since to support its goals. The 9-member board makes significant contributions to the development of Lincoln’s policies. Its leaders have the responsibility for school finances and future development and for appraising the results of policies already in action.

Lincoln is located in the comfortable suburb of La Lucila overlooking the very wide river Rio de la Plata. It has been the overwhelming choice for expatriate parents in Buenos Aires since 1936.

If you have just arrived with school age children, or are perhaps simply interested in learning more about Lincoln, we invite you to come by for a tour of our 9 hectare (21 acre) campus that includes 24,000 m² of covered school facilities including separate buildings housing elementary, middle, and high school, plus a full-size gymnasium and auditorium, and Early Childhood Education center. Additionally the school sits on 38,000 m² and has a 27,000 m² sports field.

Not only is Lincoln the only US accredited (SACS) K-12 International American School in Buenos Aires, we also provide a well trained, certified faculty with class sizes of 15-22 students, organized in age appropriate grades with an excellent student-teacher ratio. Our students in Kinder 4 to grade 5 wear a relaxed, friendly uniform of blue pants, including jeans, and white polo shirt sporting the locally purchased Lincoln emblem.

We offer a full activities program, extensive sports programs, newly refurbished sports facilities, six state-of-the-art computer labs, computer networked classrooms with full (supervised) internet access, a 25-meter heated swimming pool, two libraries containing 25,000 volumes with trained certified librarians, band and music rooms, cafeteria, a full performing arts facility, and impressive art program and facility. We also have a full-time nurse on campus every school day located in a well-equipped clinic.

Visit us and discover why expatriate parents for 70 years have consistently chosen the stable, loving, academically focused, well-rounded environment of Lincoln for their children's education. While education is academics, Lincoln goes beyond by serving as the center for social and community interaction and service, not only for the students but for the parent community as well. Our campus and facilities are available for the use of the Lincoln community. Meet and join our PTO that works in service and benefit for the students as well as the Lincoln community at large.

Lincoln provides your children the opportunity to experience Argentina, its culture and Spanish language through Argentine curriculum and friends. At the same time, your children will continue their US schooling without missing a beat - as though they were in a private US school.

All of our graduates are prepared to go on to university, either in the US, Argentina or Europe - some going to the most coveted of universities. LINCOLN also provides an undergraduate university program in English (Baccalaureate in Liberal Arts) which is officially recognized in Argentina by the Ministry of Education. Students have the option of transferring after the first year or two to complete their baccalaureate in the United States.
