Lincoln’s 9 hectare (21 acre) campus is located six miles north of the Capital Federal, in the beautiful suburb of La Lucila, overlooking the Río de la Plata. Campus facilities include: playing fields and an all-weather track alongside the river, a 25-meter swimming pool, and five major buildings containing a gymnasium, a cafeteria, 7 science laboratories, two libraries with upwards of 24,000 volumes and CD-ROM towers, a 300-seat theatre, media centers, three computer labs, three drop-in labs, a well- equipped and staffed health clinic, and 61 classrooms.
Our three computer labs and classroom computers use a network of co-axial cable with a fiber optic backbone, which provides fast, cable modem Internet access throughout the school. Students, from the very youngest to seniors, make constant use of drop-in facilities for presentations and publishing work.
These facilities integrate formal classroom instruction with students’ interests and technological explorations. Part of our website is managed and constantly updated by faculty and students who can display current happenings in and around Lincoln.
The new High School building has provided Lincoln International with a magnificent top floor art space, flooded with natural light and possessing an unparalleled view down the river to the city. In addition to being a superb exhibition and meeting space, this art area is equally accommodating for quiet portrait studies by our I.B. students.
Perhaps the most requested space in the school is the theater. This wonderful facility hosts assemblies and musicals, dramas, and an ever- increasing array of multi-media presentations. The Lincoln theater is almost never quiet.
